AC Engineering recently completed a full refurbishment of a Kue Ken 56 crusher, rebuilt entirely in-house at our workshop using our specialist equipment and fabrication expertise. The project involved a complete strip down and mechanical rebuild to bring the machine back to optimal working condition.
Refurbished to the Highest Standard
The crusher was fully shot blasted and painted by our team as part of our comprehensive surface preparation and finishing service. All bearings and phosphor bronze bushes were replaced, and every internal component was renewed to ensure maximum durability and performance. We also fitted a complete new set of jaw plates and cheek plates.
Enhanced Oiling System Design
As part of the rebuild, our engineers redesigned and rerouted the oiling system to improve reliability and simplify ongoing maintenance. Every detail of the rebuild was carefully managed to meet both mechanical and operational standards.
Built, Tested, and Delivered by Our Team
Once the Kue Ken 56 was fully rebuilt and tested in our workshop to confirm proper operation, our team organised secure transport to the customer in Sheffield. On arrival, we carried out the removal of the old unit and installed the fully refurbished crusher on site — completing the job with minimal disruption to the client's operations.
Another Example of End-to-End Engineering Support
This project showcases the strength of AC Engineering’s full-service capabilities — from in-house fabrication and painting to mechanical rebuilds, transport and onsite installation.
